Suggested Planting Requirements:  Success with your corn crop with greatly increase if nitrogen fixing plants are planted prior to corn season and let to “winter over” or become a cover crop. This allows the nitrogen fixing plants like beans, to condition the soil prior to planting the corn. You may also add compost, bone meal or kelp fertilizers.

Growing Recommendations: Corn is directly sown into the ground for best results. To ensure quality pollination of corn you must plant them in groups or rows allowing for optimal pollination. Groups or rows should have no less than four ears of corn.
